We’ve been in our house almost a year and a half and I still haven’t hung pictures. A few here and there, but considering how much joy photos bring me, you’d think I would have gotten to this a little sooner. Oh well. Here we are in 2020. It’s a time of social distancing and getting some much needed projects done around the house.
Todays mission. Hang photos in office. I’ve had a pile of photos hanging around the office for over a year. I’ve slowly ordered frames, pictures and all the fun stuff and just waited for the inspiration to hit. After getting them all out I decided that this could easily get overwhelming, so making a plan was key. It went a little some thing like this:
Step 1: Trace all pictures onto paper.
Step 2: Lay out pictures on the floor to access and make plan/map.
Step 3: Lay out plan on wall with paper tracings.
Step 4: Adjust, commit and hang those puppies!
Now this is all nice in theory, but working it all out is another story. For the most part my plan went well. It only took a hour or two and in the end I DO have photos hanging in my office. I only broke one pane of glass (ordered a replacement) and I’m happy with the results.
